中国的戏曲与希腊悲喜剧、印度梵剧并称为世界三大古老的戏剧文化,是中国传统音乐的瑰宝。唱念做打、生旦净丑、剧种繁多、流派纷呈,独具魅力的戏曲文化一直吸引着世界的目光,吸引着众多海外学子来欣赏和学习这一人类共同的文化遗产。
《中国古典戏曲音乐艺术》是面向上海音乐学院留学生开设的英语授课选修课程。内容以介绍中国戏曲音乐为主,以中国古典戏曲中最具代表的昆曲、京剧、越剧、秦腔、豫剧、黄梅戏六大剧种为主要学习对象,同时涉及戏曲简史、戏曲表演、戏曲音乐、戏曲文学、化妆及戏曲舞台审美特征等。除理论讲授外,课堂互动形式多样,将邀请表演、化妆、器乐演奏的专家、老师走进课堂,在实践中增加留学生同学对中国传统音乐的兴趣和理解。通过剧种鉴赏和剖析、现场观摩和演唱等,使留学生同学熟悉和了解中国戏曲各大剧种历史沿革脉络、音乐特征、流派与代表作品,触摸传统的温度,进而深化对于中国文化的认识。
Chinese opera, a treasure of the traditional Chinese music, is known as one of the world’s three ancient drama cultures together with Greek tragicomedy and Indian Buddhist drama. Featuring song, speech, dance-acting and combat, with roles of Sheng, Dan, Jing, and Chou, Chinese opera involves a variety of genres and schools. The unique opera culture attracts the attention of the world and many overseas students to appreciate and learn this common cultural heritage of mankind.
Chinese Classical Opera Music is an English elective course open to foreign students in Shanghai Conservatory of Music. This course introduces Chinese opera music by presenting the six representative classical operas in China: Kunqu opera, Beijing opera, Yuju opera, Shaanxi opera, Yuju opera, and Huangmei opera. It also involves a brief opera history, performance, opera music, opera literature, makeup and stage aesthetic features. In addition to theories, the classroom interaction will be in various forms: experts and teachers in performance, makeup, and instruments will be invited to the classroom to raise the students’ interest in traditional Chinese music and improve their understanding. By appreciating, analyzing, watching and singing operas, the foreign students will get familiar with and understand the history of Chinese operas, their music characteristics, genres and representative works, touch the traditions, and then have a better understanding of Chinese culture.
